Bitcoin Surges to $84K Amid Historic US Bond Yield Highs

Bitcoin (BTC) has made a notable recovery, bouncing back to $84,000 while holding above a critical support level of $82,500. This movement comes as the US 30-year bond yields reached 5.58%, marking their highest point since June 2002, amidst ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.

Despite the recent volatility in risk assets, Bitcoin managed to stabilize, trading within a narrow range below $84,300. Analysts from QCP Capital indicated that both geopolitical tensions and upcoming macroeconomic data could introduce further volatility in the crypto market.

Onchain analytics platform Glassnode reported an increase in profit-taking among Bitcoin investors, which is starting to influence price momentum. The net unrealized profit/loss (NUPL) metric reached its highest level since January, suggesting a market environment increasingly dominated by profit-taking activities.

As Bitcoin continues to navigate these challenges, traders are closely watching the $82,500 support level, which is deemed essential for maintaining its upward trend. The current market dynamics indicate that while Bitcoin is showing resilience, profit-taking could pose risks to its price stability in the near term.
