DoubleZero Launches Fiber Market Data Feed for Hyperliquid Traders

DoubleZero has unveiled a dedicated market data feed for Hyperliquid, which allows professional trading firms to access the decentralized exchange's complete order book via fiber connections. This innovation aims to provide quicker and more reliable data compared to public APIs.

The new feed encompasses Hyperliquid's native perpetual futures and markets managed by trade[XYZ], which utilizes Hyperliquid's infrastructure to offer perpetual contracts linked to commodities such as oil, gold, and silver. The initiative was developed in collaboration with validator operators and ecosystem partners like Hyperion DeFi, MAVAN, and Kinetiq.

Previously, firms had to compile data from public API responses or run their own Hyperliquid nodes to gain a comprehensive view of the order book. DoubleZero's service addresses these challenges by delivering a continuous stream of market data, essential for market makers and quantitative trading firms.

As the market data infrastructure of Hyperliquid begins to mirror that of traditional electronic exchanges, it opens up new avenues for professional trading onchain. However, significant differences remain, as Hyperliquid executes trades onchain while DoubleZero's service focuses solely on market data delivery.

Despite these advancements, latency differences persist, with geographical locations still impacting trading efficiency. Nonetheless, this development marks a significant step towards integrating onchain markets with established trading infrastructure.
