Hsin-Ju Chuang, a prominent crypto executive and former partner at Hack VC, has tragically passed away at the age of 37. The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner confirmed that her death has been ruled a suicide.
Chuang was found deceased on August 24 along southbound Interstate 15 in Harvard, California. She had a notable career, having founded Dystopia Labs and previously serving as head of growth at both Stellar and Solana before joining Hack VC.
Hack VC co-founder Alexander Pack expressed shock and sadness over Chuang's passing, extending condolences to her family and friends. He noted that the firm had not been in contact with her for over ten months and was unaware of the circumstances leading to her death.
Prior to her death, Chuang publicly accused Hack VC of mistreatment, claiming she had attempted suicide due to her experiences at the firm during a serious medical emergency. She had indicated plans to release evidence supporting her allegations.
