Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund Initiates N45 Billion Capital Raise

The Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund (NIDF) has officially launched a capital raise of up to N45 billion as part of its N200 billion issuance programme. This initiative allows investors to participate in Nigeria’s largest local currency infrastructure debt fund.

The Series 12 Offer commenced on September 23, 2026, featuring 396.33 million units priced at N113.54 each, which is a 23.13% discount compared to the NIDF’s closing market price of N147.70 per unit on September 22, 2026.

Since its inception in 2017, this marks NIDF's twelfth capital raise and fourth since its listing on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX). The fund has established a strong track record, providing long-term naira financing for critical infrastructure projects while ensuring regular returns for investors.

With over $625 million deployed to infrastructure projects in the past decade, NIDF aims to deepen its role in financing infrastructure across Nigeria. Proceeds from this capital raise will be directed towards additional infrastructure assets, continuing to support the nation’s development.

Investors are encouraged to take advantage of this discounted entry point, which not only contributes to infrastructure development but also promises regular distributions, reinforcing NIDF’s commitment to mobilizing long-term domestic capital.
