Tango Brook Technologies has achieved a significant milestone by acquiring more than 150 corporate customers within just one year of launching its fuel management platform. This growth reflects the company's commitment to enhancing technology solutions in fuel payments, fleet management, and energy intelligence.
During the company's one-year anniversary event, Executive Chairman Peter Atuma emphasized the importance of visibility and control over energy expenditures. Tango Brook aims to address inefficiencies and fraud associated with traditional fuel management practices.
Initially launching the Tango Fuel Card, the company has since expanded its offerings to include Tango Fleet Management and GenVault solutions, which provide comprehensive monitoring of fuel consumption and vehicle fleets. This evolution underscores Tango Brook's ambition to become a leading energy-spend management platform across emerging markets.
Looking ahead, Tango Brook is laying the groundwork for expansion beyond Nigeria, with plans to enter markets in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. A strategic partnership with a South African firm is also in the pipeline to facilitate further growth in Southern Africa.
The company’s Managing Director, David Oyo-Ita, noted that customer feedback has driven the evolution of their product suite, which now includes advanced data analytics and intelligent reporting capabilities. Tango Brook is focused on building a technology ecosystem that adapts to the diverse energy needs across the African continent.
