The company was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1979. Over the decades, it evolved, changing its name to Industrial Gases Limited, then to BOC Gases Nigeria Plc in 1997, before becoming Industrial & Medical Gases Nigeria Plc in 2021.
