Over the years, the company has evolved, and in 2022, Norrenberger Advisory Partners Limited, an integrated financial services group, acquired 100% of its shares, marking a new chapter in its operations and further integrating it into a broader financial services ecosystem. The company's core business revolves around providing a comprehensive range of general insurance services, with a particular expertise in underwriting solutions for both offshore and onshore energy risks. Its product portfolio includes coverage for fire, motor vehicles, general accidents, engineering projects, aviation, marine liability, and specialized oil and energy operations such as platforms, oil rigs, and sea-based pipelines. International Energy Insurance PLC primarily serves the Nigerian market, maintaining its head office in Lagos, with additional operational presence in Abuja and Port Harcourt. While previously involved in pension administration through a subsidiary, this division, IEI Anchor Pensions Managers Limited, transformed into Norrenberger Pensions Limited following the acquisition by Norrenberger Group.
