About OMATEK VENTURES PLC

OMATEK VENTURES PLC, founded on July 6, 1988, by Florence O. Seriki, established itself as a pioneering force in Africa's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Initially starting as an ICT training provider, the company evolved into a vendor for prominent international computer brands before transforming into an indigenous manufacturer and assembler of computer systems. Incorporated as a limited liability company in 1988, it converted to a Public Company in 2008 and is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. OMATEK holds the distinction of being the first Nigerian ICT company in Africa to locally assemble and manufacture a comprehensive range of computer components, including computer cases, speakers, keyboards, and mouse, in addition to complete computer systems and notebooks. The company's core business revolves around the manufacturing, distribution, sales, and servicing of computer equipment and home entertainment products, alongside offering specialized engineering services. Its diverse product portfolio encompasses notebooks, desktop computers, servers, casings, speakers, and multimedia products such as plasma and LCD screens. OMATEK is also a significant provider of power solutions, including inverters, solar power products, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, targeting digital space expansion and intelligent home solutions. While primarily serving the Nigerian market, OMATEK extends its reach across the African continent, notably maintaining a distribution network in Ghana, and aims to penetrate other ECOWAS countries like The Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. Key subsidiaries include Omatek Computers Limited for assembly and manufacturing, Omatek Ventures Distribution Limited handling sales and distribution, and Omatek Engineering Services Limited focusing on power solutions. Additionally, Omatek Computers (Ghana) Limited and Omatek Ventures (Ghana) Limited manage its operations in Ghana.
