C & I Leasing Plc, incorporated in 1990 as a limited liability company and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, commenced full operations in June 1991, offering operating and finance leases and various ancillary services. Over decades, it has evolved from a consumer finance leasing entity into a diversified leasing and business service conglomerate, providing support to numerous indigenous and multinational organizations. The company's shares have been listed on the Nigerian Exchange since December 1997, solidifying its presence as a key player in the support and logistics sector. Its core business model revolves around equipment leasing, encompassing vehicles, vessels, and household items, alongside comprehensive logistics support services. The company's operations are structured across several key business lines, including Fleet Management, Personnel Outsourcing, Telematics (Citracks), and Marine Services. Its Fleet Management division provides vehicle leasing, maintenance, and holds the exclusive Hertz car rental franchise in Nigeria, supported by Citracks Telematics for asset tracking and management. The Personnel Outsourcing unit specializes in human resource outsourcing, recruitment, payroll, and business process outsourcing for various organizations. Through its Marine Services, C & I Leasing offers onshore and offshore support, chartering and operating supply vessels, tugs, barges, security patrol boats, and crew boats, along with offshore marine logistics. The company's key markets span West Africa, with a significant presence in Nigeria through offices in major cities like Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Benin, Calabar, Enugu, and Abuja, as well as operations in Ghana and the United Arab Emirates. Notable subsidiaries include Leasafric Ghana PLC in Ghana and Epic International FZE in Dubai, UAE.
