About THOMAS WYATT NIGERIA PLC.

Thomas Wyatt Nigeria Plc, initially established as Thomas Wyatt and Sons (West Africa), began as a private limited company incorporated on March 18, 1948, and commenced operations in 1949. It later transitioned to a public company in 1978, becoming a pioneering entity in Nigeria's paper conversion and printing industry. The company's enduring presence is anchored in its role as a trailblazer for large-scale printing and the local manufacturing of school and office stationery, products previously imported into the country. To facilitate expansion and meet growing demands, the company established key subsidiaries: Thomas Wyatt and Son (Northern Nigeria) Limited in 1961, with a production factory in Kaduna, and APEX (Eastern Nigeria) Limited in 1962, located in Port Harcourt. The core business model of Thomas Wyatt Nigeria Plc revolves around the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of a wide array of paper products. Its extensive product line includes school exercise books, hard cover notebooks, pads, drawing books, ruled papers, duplicated books, spiral and quarter-bound books, photocopying and typing papers, and a full complement of envelopes. The company also diversified its offerings in 1983 with the introduction of toilet rolls and facial tissue under the "NAPEX" trademark, alongside other printing capabilities like calendars and diaries. Serving the Nigerian market, Thomas Wyatt Nigeria Plc reaches its customers through strategic distribution depots in major cities such as Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Kaduna, Onitsha, and Ibadan, complemented by a broad network of distributors and direct marketing to key clients.
