About ELLAH LAKES PLC.

Ellah Lakes Plc, an indigenous agribusiness company, was established in 1980 by the late Senator F. J. Ellah, with its headquarters located in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. The company initially focused on fish farming, encompassing the production and marketing of fresh water fish. However, following a period where commercial operations in fish farming ceased, Ellah Lakes underwent a significant strategic transformation in May 2019 with the acquisition of Telluria Farms. This pivotal acquisition redirected its core mission towards large-scale crop production and processing, repositioning it as a diversified agribusiness entity. The company has been listed on the Main Board of the Nigerian Stock Exchange since January 14, 1993. The company's core business model centers on vertically integrated agro-industrial operations, primarily focusing on the cultivation and processing of staple crops. Its main products include palm oil and cassava, and it also cultivates maize, soya (soybean), and rice, producing derivative products such as high-quality cassava flour. Ellah Lakes serves the Nigerian market, addressing food security and agricultural demands, with extensive land banks in Edo, Ondo, Enugu, and Ekiti States within Nigeria, and also holds land in Ghana. Key strategic expansions include the acquisition of Telluria Farms and the ongoing integration of Agro-Allied Resources & Processing Nigeria Limited (ARPN), further enhancing its operational footprint and processing capacity.
